Welcome to the Greater Houston Community Foundation Scholarship Application site!

The Greater Houston Community Foundation (GHCF) administers a variety of unique scholarship funds that grant over $1 million annually to college students. The scholarship funds have been established by thoughtful and generous donors and each have a unique set of eligibility criteria and award structure.

To apply for a scholarship:

  1. Create an account;
  2. Review the list of scholarships available; 
  3. Identify the scholarships that you are eligible for; and
  4. Complete the application (including submitting all required documentation).

  • Bob Daniels Scholarship - Benefiting dependents of Anadarko employees who attend Colorado School of Mines - main campus
  • Briar Club Scholarship -Benefiting employees of and dependents of the Briar Club
  • Camden Property Trust Scholarship - Benefiting dependents of Camden employees
  • Carolyn J. & Robert J. Allison Jr. Scholarship Benefiting dependents of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation employees 
  • Chuck and Shari Meloy Scholarship - Benefiting dependents of Anadarko employees who attend Texas A&M University - main campus

  • GHCF Community Impact Scholarship Benefiting graduating high school seniors from a public school in Harris County impacted by Hurricane Harvey
  • Healthcare & Nursing Education Foundation Scholarship Benefiting individuals who demonstrate the desire and ability to pursue a professional nursing career in the Greater Houston area and who have demonstrated financial need
